The Colour Series
"Colour exerts such a strong influence in our lives," says Frances. "It effects the way we see, feel and act and it gives rise to a wide range of responses from aggression to tranquillity. For the artist, the selection and use of colour is very important. Its understanding and control are crucial to an artist's expression."

Everyone has some response to colour, even those people who have varying ways of seeing it . Frances' classes are always especially designed to cater for people with all levels of experience or skill, and these sessions in colour will be no exception, so that everyone who participates will find the experience inspiring and creative.

"The series will demystify the process of colour mixing and the use of colour, so that everyone can realise their full potential in an enjoyable, informative and straightforward way."

Trained at Glasgow College of Art, Frances Law has exhibited her work widely to critical acclaim. She has extensive experience of teaching and people who attend her classes are always very enthusiastic. One regular participant of her Angus Arts sessions said "I would go anywhere for Frances' classes. They are just fantastic."
